That’s me on the left, then Dexter, Dave, and Alex. Don’t we look blissed out? These photos are from our Paris trip…so yeah, we were blissed out.

Dave and I have been married for 21 years. We’ve lived in San Francisco for several years after college, then in the East Bay for several years after the boys arrived. Now we live in Wisconsin and we love it. California may have a better year-round climate, but Wisconsin has it beat for quality of life and quality of local food. I know it’s hard to believe, but it’s true.

I'm a communications specialist for the UW Department of Psychiatry plus an avid cook, gadgethead, and advocate for locally grown food. Dave is a programming genius, open-source guru, musician, eater, and the guy who cleans up after me in the kitchen (thank god!). Alex is a very cool guy, a passionate film geek, and a writer. Dexter is our gamer-geek, artist, and my sous chef. We're a goofy group...we like to play video games, read books, listen to music, waste tons of time on the internet, watch TV and movies, and eat.

I should also mention how much I love all your comments. I do! I also love it when you cook something from here, that just makes me sooo happy. As much as I love your comments and such I have to apologize for not replying to them…I actually become quite tongue-tied and and I don’t know what to say…then I don’t say anything, then I realize that I’m being silly and I should say something….I think you get the picture, I’m socially awkward and I can’t help myself. Thanks for putting up with me.
