Pretty is everywhere…just make sure to look for it. Sometimes she flaunts it in a well executed example of grafitti,
and other times she smacks you in the face with a tender bloom.
Barcelona is never shy, she’s well versed in how to flirt and get your attention.
She prefers to show off her attributes with exquisite fashion and brilliant colors.
She never tires of feeding your fantasies.
Even in practical matters she finds a way to entice and excite,
and yet she never denies life’s simple truths.
Sometimes she can be contemplative and nurturing.
Eyes wide open, both feet first.
We’ve just returned from a two week vacation in Europe. Our travels were satisfying and included the complete range of human emotions from agonizing fatigue to humor so broad and robust I thought we’d all land on the floor laughing and totally embarrass ourselves. The most valuable aspect of vacation is the perspective it provides on your real life. You know, the one waiting patiently at home, more than happy to subsume the fresh attitude and ideas you acquired on your travels. But not this time…the best way to foil the real life is to jump back into it and quickly make those changes before the habits return and the entropy sinks in. So, this is me…jumping back in with both feet and looking forward to the change. I’ll be blogging again and I’ll keep the name What Geeks Eat but this won’t just be a food blog…I’ll write about whatever I want…maybe food, maybe the five faces of the higgs bosun particle.
