What we’re eating

Well we’re eating some of our favorite comfort food. Chinese Chicken with Bok Choy and Ginger on Sunday and Chili Chiliwilly today. You’ve been there, done that, and if you haven’t…go there now. This has been a tough week for the geeks with work, car repairs, and general malaise. Where is my fainting couch when I need it!
Today I got a cute and useful present In the mail. My moo mini cards:

Whenever I’m out visiting farms or local providers I always have my camera and notebook and I often get asked what I’m doing. This discussion inevitably leads to the question “What is your blog’s address?”. That question usually ends up with me stripping a page out of my moleskin (ughhh!!! I hate to do that) to scribble it on. These cards are attractive, heavy stock. The photos reproduced well and since the size is about 2/3rds the size of a typical U.S. business card they stand out even more.
We’ll be going to our Slow Food Annual meeting in a few weeks and since GH often feels compelled to promote my blog he can have at it with at least some good material at hand.
I’ll cook something new soon…in the meantime my family is basking in the warmth of their favorite meals. What are you eating?

This looks great, and very very fresh!
I’ve been designing some cards for myself too. I will mostly be using them for scaring the hell out of restaurant staff! ;)
My boyfriend just sent me a link to these card yesterday and they are very interesting. The pictures you chose are very lovely….as for what i am eating. I cooked an amazing baked shell with butternut squash puree, carmalized onion, browned chicken, rosemary and 3 cheeses. I have craved it everyday since i made it.
Scott, not nearly as fresh as your website. You’ve been busy.
Ros, I hadn’t thought of that. My evil twin Vivian can be in charge of that mission.
Meg, Ummm, I love squash…now I’m hungry.
those moo mini cards look really fun! I want some. :)
BTW Amanda and I are eating steaks and artichokes tonight :D
Callipygia of http://foodchair.blogspot.com/ left me this comment today but I accidentally deleted it but was then able to resurrect the text but not the form. She wrote:
